Juan Carlos Ortega was born in Barcelona in 1968. Although his career has focused on humor, he has always had a clear interest in science communication. For five years he was responsible for the science section in a program of the National Radio of Spain and until recently he directed the section about history of science in the same station. He is the author of several books and currently combines his work as a presenter on Spanish TV La2, with a daily participation in Cadena Ser and the National Radio of Spain.
