Sergio Vila-Sanjuán Robert

Sergio Vila-Sanjuán is one of Spain’s most prestigious cultural journalists. He took a degree in History at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and continued his studies at the University of Boston thanks to a Fulbright grant. Since 1987, he has worked at La Vanguardia, where he is editor of the supplement Cultura/s.

His essays include Turning the Page, The Frankfurt Syndrome, and The Bestseller Code. Curator of the 2005 Year of Book and Reading, he is a member of Barcelona’s Royal Academy of Language and Literature.
