Santiago Díaz Cortés was born in Madrid in 1971. After working for five years in the Fiction Department of Antena 3 TV, acting as Content Delegate for series such as Compañeros, Un paso adelante, Aquí no hay quien viva or Código Fuego, he devoted himself entirely to scriptwriting. Throughout his career of more than twenty years, he has worked for different producers and on numerous successful series recognized with many awards (Hermanas, El pasado es mañana, 7 días al desnudo, Yo soy Bea, El don de Alba, El secreto de Puente Viejo...).
He has written around 500 scripts that have appeared on television.
