Marcos Chicot

Marcos Chicot (Madrid, 1971) has a degree in Clinical Psychology, Labour Psychology and Economics. He has published three novels: El asesinato de Pitágoras (The Murder of Pythagoras), La Hermandad (The Brotherhood) and Diario de Gordon (Gordon’s Diary). In his literary career he has won the Francisco Umbral Award for the Novel, the International Rotary Prize for the Novel, and with El asesinato de Pitágoras he won the 2015 Prize for Mediterranean Culture for the best novel published in Italy. The same novel earned him the Encomio Solenne distinction from the city of Crotone and was the world’s bestselling digital novel in Spanish in the period 2013-2016.

He is a member of Mensa and donates 10% of what he earns from his novels to help people with disabilities.
