José Ignacio Latorre is Professor of Theoretical Physics on leave of absence at the Universitat de Barcelona. He is director of the Centre for Quantum Technologies in Singapore and head researcher at the Quantum Research Center in Abu Dhabi. He was co-founder of the Pedro Pascual Benasque Science Center and of the company Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, which is building the first quantum computer in southern Europe. He is the author of Quantum and Ethics for Machines, both published by Ariel.
