Elena García Quevedo was Near East correspondent for Cadena Ser and is cowriter of such films as Winter in Baghdad (Silver Bouquet at the Malaga Film festival and winner at the New York Latino Film Festival), Invisible (Goya Prize for Best Documentary), and Lost Generation? With a doctorate in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, she spent years filming in war zones before beginning her search for people recognized for their wisdom and experience who knew how to respond to aggression with the tools of peace, key for the changing times we live in.
