Diana López Varela

Diana López Varela (Pontevedra, 1986) is a journalist, screenwriter, and columnist. She wrote and directed the successful short theater play No Country For Cunts, and cowrote the animation feature Memoirs of a Man in Pajamas. Others of her projects include The Man and the Dog, a feature documentary for Canal +’s Explosion series, a theatrical adaptation of Pulp Fiction (Directed by Carlos Vermut), the documentary 25 Years of Galician Cinema for TVG, the second season of the web series Social Classes, the musical short Superpunky and the film Don’t Forget Tomorrow, set in the Dominican Republic. She has also worked as a television writer and recently directed her first short film, Feminazi. She has written for Jot Down and El Diario de Pontevedra, El Nacional.cat, Onda Cero, and El Público. She is now writing for television and is co-director of the women’s conference “Woman Who Give Their Opinion Are Dangerous.”
