Daniel Lacalle (Madrid, 1967) is an economist and investment fund manager based in London. With a Degree in Business from the Universidad de Madrid, he holds the title of International Financial Analyst CIIA (Certified International Investment Analyst) and graduate from IESE (Universidad de Navarra). His career in portfolio management and investment began in the hedge fund Citadel, in the U.S. and London, and continued in Ecofin Limited, covering equities, fixed, venture capital and commodities. Voted for five consecutive years in the Top 3 of the best managers in the Extel Survey, the Thompson Reuters rankings in the categories Overall, oil and electric.
