Borja Cobeaga

Borja Cobeaga (Donosti, 1977) graduated in Audiovisual Communications from the University of the Basque Country. In 2001 he was nominated for the Goya Prize for his short film La primera vez. In 2005 he made the short Éramos pocos, which was nominated for an Oscar in 2006. His first feature length movie was Pagafantas and earned 2 million euros. He co-wrote the film Ocho apellidos vascos, the most successful film in the history of Spanish cinema.
