Alfredo García Fernández is a nuclear science and technology writer, winner of the Communication Award of the Spanish Nuclear Society, and an active defender of the role of nuclear energy as a tool to mitigate global warming. He is a technical engineer in telecommunications, has a degree in Audiovisual Communication, and holds the necessary operator and supervisor licenses from the Nuclear Safety Council to operate at the Ascó nuclear power plant in Tarragona.
